For many people, when it comes to deciding on a wedding cake, “sweet or savoury” never even comes into the equation. It would appear, however, that there is a new trend on the rise for those with less of a sweet-tooth.
“Cheese-cakes” appear to be bursting onto the scene. If you are out for a meal and you choose to skip dessert and head straight for the Cheeseboard, why should your wedding be any different if cheese is what you love?
This particular cheese-cake was made up of Sussex Farmhouse, Sussex Blue, Sussex Brie, Organic Cheddar, Lord London and Mayfield Cheese’s and was garnished with physalis, figs, green and red grapes and some of our very own fresh, organic, grapevine leaves.
Alongside it was a blackboard that read:
“Sweet Dreams are Made of Cheese, Who am I to Dis-a-Brie? I Cheddar the World and the Feta Cheese, Everybody’s looking for Stilton.
Please help yourselves to our cheeseboard!

It was a lot of fun and an interesting, unique alternative to the traditional wedding cake. It looked excellent! We hope that Tom and Jess had the most wonderful day yesterday. We wish them many happy and exciting years to come!
